Who We Are
3 FOR A CAUSE was founded by three siblings : Aden, Ethan and Sari Cohen.
When their beloved grandmother passed away from a hard-fought battle with stomach cancer- this invoked a feeling for the siblings to come together to do something powerful in the form of giving back for the greater good . Since then, they decided to extend their involvement in community service by establishing their own charitable foundation focused on helping those who are sick, developmentally disabled and those at risk, suffering from all forms of illnesses. They have raised and donated a combined value in capital and goods of over $60,000 to multiple charitable organizations.
Supporting children and their families in need, offers 3 FOR A CAUSE an opportunity to assist those struggling and offer a distraction to the daily fight that they face. Whether its a struggle due to a virus such as COVID-19, cancer or other terminal illness- we value all lives and love to help make a better day for children and local communities .

SOME OF What We Have Donated & Fundraised
Financial Donations
Financial donations are so important. As a non-profit charity, we donate money as well as have fundraised, helping all children & the community in need. We have raised and personally donated over $30,000 to The Red Cross, Direct Relief, Mount Sinai Hospitals, Ronald McDonald House and Cohens Children’s Medical Center.
Our Time
Sometimes, tangible items are not the only thing needed from a charity. Many times it’s simply helping others and dedication to being involved that bring a smile to a child’s face. We sold more than 500 wristbands, raising over $2000 to bring awareness to the No Stomach For Cancer organization.
Toys & Games
Toys of all kinds, especially gently used or new – are a great thing to donate. We worked with Toys Of Hope, providing kids with almost 150 well deserved gifts during the holiday season.
Sports Equipment
Kids love to play sports of all kinds but sometimes they just don’t have the right equipment. Whether its a ball, a bat, a baseball glove, cleats, pads or a racquet- these items are greatly appreciated. We coordinated a sports drive that ended up collecting almost 300 pieces of sports equipment for underprivileged children.
Books
People might not think of books as something typically donated. Children’s minds are like a sponge. Many children love to read. We organized a 3-day book drive at 2 locations which amounted to 650 books being donated to The Book Fairies organization.
Clothing & Shoes
Whether it’s jerseys, jeans, leggings, t-shirts or skirts – sneakers, shoes or sandals, there are plenty of children that desperately need a variety of clothes and shoes. We have helped with direct donations to various charitable organizations of over 100 bags of clothing and over 450 pairs or shoes and 450 pairs of socks to Sole4Souls.

Please join us in our mission to help raise money and awareness for children and their families suffering from disease, those less fortunate and others at risk by helping us with donating your time and money. 100% of all fundraising will directly benefit the children, their families and others in need.
Our charitable organization- 3 FOR A CAUSE provides us with the opportunity to honor our grandmother, who taught us the importance of being there and for helping others.

Each day, thousands of people – people just like you – provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world. We roll up our sleeves and donate time, money and blood. We learn or teach life-saving skills so our communities can be better prepared when the need arises. We do this every day because the Red Cross is needed – every day.

Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay.

— Big Brothers Big Sisters
Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential. As the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

Since 1974, RMHC has created programs that strengthen families during difficult times. RMHC provides vital resources and compassionate care to children and their families being served by leading hospitals worldwide. Core RMHC programs — Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile programs — provide access to health care and enable family-centered care. RMHC helped lessen the burden for millions of families in 2018.

At Cohen Children’s Medical Center, we’re dedicated to providing the very best care to meet the special needs of children, from premature babies to adolescents. Our 202-bed hospital opened in 1983 as the New York metropolitan area’s only hospital designed exclusively for children. Today we are the largest provider of pediatric health services in New York state, serving 1.8 million children in Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Founded in 1992, Island Harvest Food Bank is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization, with a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. We distribute fresh produce, meat, and non-perishables throughout Long Island and assist thousands of Long Islanders daily through our innovative programming and network of community partners.

Join us in advancing the fight against stomach cancer. Donations to No Stomach For Cancer help to advance awareness and education about stomach cancer, provide a support network for affected families and support research for screening, early detection, treatment, and prevention of stomach cancer.

Toys of Hope supports over 65,000 needy children, their families and their pets every year. 100% of all donations goes towards helping families in need. Known for “More Than Toys”, the charity has created many programs that provide desperately needed goods and services to assist families in becoming self-sufficient and, in turn, helping to improve their children’s lives.

Game Changers New York is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to empower disadvantaged youth around the world by providing them the opportunity to become athletes. To achieve this goal, we donate collected sports equipment to children in need locally and globally. Our volunteers have helped with the growth of the organization, and their collective efforts have impacted the lives of tens of thousands of children worldwide.
